I was born on March 7th, 1986, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  My parents, Jerry and Victoria Kennon, currently reside near Van Horne, Iowa, where I attended High School at Benton Community High (Class of 2004).
I am a member of the Luther College Class of 2008, majoring in English, with minors in Religion and Philosophy.  Here, I am involved with:
1. SAC Films, a group which provides theatrical films for students and staff on campus.
2. The Luther College Cathedral Choir- 100 singers strong.
3. A work-study position as a Tour Guide for the Admissions Department.
4. Yet another work-study position in the Theater Department.

Other Projects:

In August I began work as part of the small team of selected writers working on composing a theatrical production for the opening ceremonies of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Forum.  This project will continue vigorously into March.

In October I began working with the Cedar Rapids LaSalle Middle School show choir, Center Stage.  I will work off and on throughout the year writing and teaching their show to them, as well as cleaning and polishing their performance until the close of the season in May.  This is my third year working with this group.

My current writing projects are "The Virginia Exhibit", featured on this site, and another, which is still in its primordial stages and remains without a title for the time being.  Completion for both will fall sometime in the next few months.

My goal is to complete my Bachelor's degree from Luther College, go on to a prestigious graduate program in English Literature, and pursue a life of fiction writing and being..well.. a professional intellectual.
